March is fast approaching, and with it International Women’s Day on March 8th. Female empowerment and career success is a critical part of what we do at City CV, so International Women’s Day is a key date in the calendar for us. We have lots of great articles, and host multiple events, on relevant topics. Here is more information on a couple of the most popular:

Menopause and the workplace

The perimenopause and menopause have both been discussed at length in recent media, and this taboo subject is finally a topic for open discussion in the corporate world. Research, and direct experience, demonstrates the devastating impact it can have on women personally and on their careers.

If you missed our inaugural webinar on the ‘Menopause and the Workplace’, and it’s a topic of interest personally and/or from an organisational perspective, then we recommend you read one of the latest blogs from the Hanover team called The Last Taboo?.

If this is a topic you think your employer should be addressing, then we are also now running tailored sessions on the topic for female employees and all HR and senior leaders. Read more about the menopause workshops here.

‘Sorry Not Sorry: Why women apologise too much’ #BreakTheBias

This is one of our favourite webinars. It focuses on the negative impact the ‘apologising habit’ has on women’s careers and how to break that habit. This fun and interactive session shows women how to talk confidently and unapologetically to get the balance right. It’s a topic relevant to every woman in the workplace, so would work perfectly for your female team members and colleagues around International Women’s Day. We are running lots of sessions for clients, but still have spaces available. Watch the video for more details and get in touch to book Victoria.

We should also mention on March 8th, we will be hosting our own session of  ‘Sorry Not Sorry’. More information on the webinar and registration details are here.

Ongoing employee engagement and training

Our ability to support you doesn’t just end with International Women’s Day. Take a look at some of our most popular workshops and webinars here, all fully-tailored to your organisation and employees. The City CV team would love the chance to discuss with you the ways that our training and advice can help you and your teams navigate these topics.
