Whether it’s netwalking, urban cycling or just after work beer and pizza, socialising with our co-workers is seen as part of the culture in many industries. There’s plenty of evidence that it makes for vastly improved working relationships. And, of course, it can be fun.

But, do you ever feel under pressure to go to after work events? To join in when you don’t want to? What if you have other responsibilities, or just prefer to keep your work and personal life separate.
