Judy is an experienced NED with a record of leadership and governance in universities, charities and NGOs. She has been with City CV since its inception, providing strategic guidance on corporate development and acting as critical sounding board for strategic decision-making.

A skilled chair of interviewing panels, including for CEO and board appointments, Judy also has wide experience of mentoring and coaching at senior levels and specialises in enabling women to break through the glass ceiling.

Judy is an author, editor and emeritus professor of English. Her expertise in writing, training and quality management have been key to establishing City CV’s premier market positioning. She is a trustee of the Girls Day School Trust and Chair of High Peak Theatre Trust.
