I contacted City CV following my redundancy. I was previously in a senior role as Head of Security for a major global brand. I have never needed to rely on a CV before, having always secured roles through my networks or executive headhunters. However, in the COVID recruitment climate, my CV just wasn’t cutting it. I applied for a sizable number of “cold start” roles, but wasn’t getting the interview invitations.
